CobolPeople.com SERVICES

CobolPeople.com works hard to find the best fit for our customers (Candidates and Clients) so we offer three methods to work with us. All fees are collected from the Client and not the Candidate.

CONTRACT

CobolPeople.com typically accepts 3-18 month temporary engagements where the work is performed on site at the client's place of business. Most contract positions are project development, enhancement or migration oriented.

CONTRACT TO HIRE

Like a contract position there is a temporary element at the start to the position but the client has expressed an interest in perhaps converting a temporary contract worker into a full time staff member. Candidates will be informed of the employer's intentions and a conversion salary will be discussed and shared with the client at the time of submission of the candidate. The ultimate decision to join as a full time employee is up to the candidate and the client to come to terms. CobolPeople.com will assist with negotiations at the request of the candidate or client.

DIRECT HIRE

We work with our Clients to find the best Candidates for full time staff positions. The fees associated with working with us on a Direct Hire plan are paid by the Client, not the Candidate.


WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM CobolPeople.com:

CANDIDATES

Candidates can rest assured that their resume will not be submitted to the client without:

  • Expressed verbal or written permission
  • Divulging who the client is
  • The location of the worksite
  • Relationship with CobolPeople.com (W2 Hourly, 1099, Corp to Corp for Contract or Direct Hire with the Client)
  • Rate is agreed upon for the engagement or salary range for Direct Hire with the Client
  • Length of Contract or probation period for Contract to Hire
  • Whether it is an expressed Contract to Hire or limited Contract

CLIENTS

When a client sees a candidate from CobolPeople.com we have vetted the candidate for technical skills, communications skills, resume accuracy, deliverability and overall personality traits.

Our job is to make the Client's job easier by sending a few but targeted candidates to pick from. We will not send you piles of resumes to peruse. The more information you can share with us about Skills, Tools, Team, Work Environment etc., the better chance we have to fill your positions with people with the right technical and soft skills to fit the project, team and corporate environment.
